Microlearning: Quickly Engaging Your
Team/Clients With Easy to Access Modules
Microlearning Projects Collection: AI Fluency & Everyday Inclusion
Project Overview
Modern employees need learning that is fast, engaging, and directly applicable to their work. To demonstrate my approach to microlearning design, I built two short-form modules using Articulate Rise 360: one focused on ethical and effective AI usage, and another focused on creating inclusive workplace environments.
Goal
Deliver two high-engagement microlearning experiences that build foundational skills in AI literacy and inclusion through simple, actionable, scenario-based design.
The Problem
Organizations struggle with:
- Low engagement with long training formats
- Limited time for deep learning sessions
- Difficulty translating abstract DEI or AI concepts into real behaviors
- A need for modern, story-driven, practical training
The Solution
I created two microlearning modules that blend scenarios, reflection, and interactive components.
Module 1: AI for Professionals
A microlearning focused on ethical usage, prompt writing, real workplace examples, and confidence-building try-it activities.

Module 2: Everyday Inclusion
A trauma-informed, UDL-aligned microlearning that teaches inclusive communication, small behaviors that build belonging, and micro-scenarios.

My Process
1. Identify Key Behaviors
I clarified the real skills learners needed to use immediately at work.
2. Write Micro-Scenarios
Built short examples from realistic workplace moments such as confusion about AI or responding to exclusion.
3. Build in Rise
Created modular interactions using accordions, tabs, reflection prompts, and try-it-out challenges.
4. User Test & Refine
Collected qualitative feedback to improve clarity, tone, flow, and scenario relevance.
Tools Used
Results
Learners completed modules more frequently than traditional PD formats.
Clear, simple examples helped learners apply skills the same day.
